Teams & Tryouts

PSA Princeton will form boys’ and girls’ teams from U7 (2019) through U19 (2008/07) for the 2025/26 Season. The U7 through U19 age groups we will form teams to compete in the USYS National League and EDP and MNJYSA League systems. All teams will receive the same quantity and quality of programming, at their appropriate level of competition. Each player selected will be placed in a team by PSA professional coaching staff at their appropriate playing level. 

PSA is committed to offering quality training and coaching by our professional coaches to the youth players of New Jersey. PSA coaches have earned soccer coaching credentials from the U.S. Soccer as well as abroad, and all have extensive experience training and coaching youth teams at a variety of levels. They are soccer coaches and teachers of the game.

Important Tryout Information

  • Players will need to register using the above link before the scheduled tryout date. Players who fail to register in time may not be eligible to play at their scheduled tryout.

  • Players will need to attend all tryout dates for their age group. Those that cannot make all of the dates will need to contact the appropriate Director of Coaching listed above with information on their non-attendance.

  • Players should arrive at least 15 minutes before the scheduled start time. This is to ensure a smooth check-in procedure and a consistent start time for each scheduled tryout.

  • Players will need to be dressed appropriately to play, shin guards are required.

  • All current PSA players should wear their current practice uniform.

  • Non-PSA players will receive a unique number during tryout check-in that they will be required to wear throughout the tryout.

  • Selections and notifications will be made by the PSA coaching staff in a timely manner throughout the tryout period
