PSA COMMITMENT AND NO REFUND POLICY

All payments for PSA Registration Fees are non-refundable.

PSA’s peak team formation period occurs during the same time that other clubs are holding tryouts, and players are actively seeking new teams. As a result, PSA tryouts typically attract more players than there are available roster spots. This forces PSA to make difficult decisions, offering roster positions to some players while having to turn others away.

Once a player accepts a roster spot and the first payment of the Registration Fee is received, PSA guarantees that spot for the upcoming season, and it is no longer available to any other player. This commitment is firm and non-refundable. PSA enforces this same policy for every rostered player to ensure fairness and give families confidence when committing to a team ahead of the season.

This strict non-refundable policy is essential, especially because tryouts for Fall teams take place in the Spring. If a player later decides to withdraw, PSA’s ability to find a replacement of equal skill and commitment is significantly reduced. Such withdrawals can impact not only the club but also the team’s cohesion and performance.

If a family chooses to withdraw after accepting a spot, the full financial commitment remains due. No refunds will be issued under any circumstances. If payments are not made on time, PSA reserves the right to accelerate all outstanding balances, charge the full remaining amount to the payment method on file, revoke player cards, and remove the player from the roster.
Suspension or removal from participation does not relieve the parent/guardian of their obligation to pay the full registration fee.

This financial commitment is critical to minimize potential harm to PSA and its teams and to ensure that each player and family demonstrates the same level of commitment. It also protects the experience of other rostered players and their families, preventing disruptions due to last-minute roster changes. In addition, PSA enforces it is no refund policy to avoid the considerable damages caused to PSA if the parents/guardians of players were able to avoid their agreed upon financial obligations to PSA. This includes damage in which the club pays for the loss directly, or indirect damage caused by forcing other parents within the club to incur unexpected charges due to the actions of those breaching agreement, thus harming the
reputation of PSA. Please note that there are no exceptions to this policy.

PSA is committed to transparency and consistency in enforcing this policy. This helps safeguard the club’s reputation, support its dedicated players and families, and maintain its standing as a respected organization in youth soccer.

Families are strongly encouraged to carefully review and consider this policy before accepting a roster spot. By committing, each family acknowledges and accepts these terms, including the terms of the offer letter/email made to the PSA athlete, just as every other rostered family is equally bound by them.

Accepting A Roster Spot at PSA.

As a condition of accepting a roster spot with the PSA club, each parent/guardian acknowledges, understands, and agrees a) that if their child withdraws from the PSA program, it may be difficult or impossible for PSA to replace the departing player with someone of equal or greater skill, potentially impacting the team and causing harm to PSA; b) to make all Registration Fee payments in full and on time, as outlined in this Registration Fee Agreement; c) to voluntarily waive the right to cancel or revoke any authorized payment method provided for the purpose of paying the Registration Fee; d) that all payments made under the Registration Fee Agreement are non-refundable under any circumstances, regardless of whether the player withdraws from the program; e)that if PSA permits payment of registration fees in installments, such payment plan is offered solely as a convenience courtesy to the parent/guardian and does not alter the non-refundable nature of the total Registration Fee; f) that the full Registration Fee amount is a critically required financial commitment, essential for PSA to effectively build and prepare youth teams in advance of the playing season; g) to all of the terms of the offer letter/email presented to the athlete for a roster position on the PSA team; h) that PSA, by selecting the player for a roster spot, is undertaking a substantial financial and logistical commitment necessary to operate a competitive youth soccer club; g) to be responsible for any reasonable costs, including attorney fees, incurred by PSA in the process of collecting any unpaid Registration Fee, should such action become necessary; i) that no portion of the registration fee shall be credited, transferred, applied, or rolled over to any future season, program, player, or sibling; j) that all fees apply solely to the specific season and participant for which registration is completed; k) that registration is completed electronically and requires affirmative acceptance of the terms of the PSA registration before payment is processed; l) that all decisions regarding operational decisions within the PSA team and club are made by professional PSA staff and disagreement with any of those decisions, which include but are not limited to which include team participation in leagues and, who trains and coaches the team, including changes, numbers of players on a roster, which players compete in which game(s), decisions on how long players play in any given game(s), and the position(s) that players play in when on the field, do not constitute any reason for any refund; m) that PSA maintains electronic records evidencing acceptance, including the version of terms agreed to, date and time of acceptance, and associated account information; and n) that there are no exceptions to any of the PSA policies, terms or conditions outlined above including the PSA no refund policy for any Registration Fee once an athlete accepts the roster position on the PSA team.
